Helio P85
Posted : admin On 1/29/2022The MediaTek Helio P60 brings together a deep and diverse mix of class-leading hardware. It combines the incredible power of four, big Arm Cortex-A73 processors among its octa-core CPU; a multi-core AI Processing Unit (Mobile APU) for efficient edge-AI processing; the latest Arm Mali-G72 GPU; 20:9 FullHD+ display support; and three power-optimized ISPs and other hardware-enhancements paired to.
We compared two 8-core processors: Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 (with Adreno 610 graphics) and MediaTek Helio G85 (Mali-G52 MP2). Here you will find the pros and cons of each chip, technical specs, and comprehensive tests in benchmarks, like AnTuTu and Geekbench.
MediaTek Helio G85 Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP) is a more advanced version of big.LITTLE technology. In this setup, a processor can utilize all cores at the same time, or just a single core for low-intensity tasks. Mediatek Helio P65. The Mediatek Helio P65 is a mainstream ARM SoC for smartphones (mainly Android based) that was introduced in mid 2019.It is manufactured in a 12 nm FinFET (12FFC) process.
- Performs 5x better in floating-point computations
- Developers optimize games for Snapdragon processors more often than for Helio
- Has a smaller size transistor (11 versus 12 nm)
- Higher GPU frequency (~67%)
- Shows better (up to 8%) AnTuTu 8 score – 195K vs 180K
